Wotofo Troll V2 RDA Great Review with Video and Pictures
Wotofo Troll V2 RDA
The original Troll RDA was dubbed “a pure flavor chasing monster” by Wotofo, but now the company has introduced a refined version of that monster with its Troll V2. Equipped with big 2.7mm wire holes for more powerful dual-coil, the new Troll brings the promise of better flavor and bigger cloud. Additional benefit is that you can install the coils more easily. Troll RDA V2 is available in either black or stainless steel. The package includes:
- Wotofo Troll V2 RDA
- 13mm bore competition chuff cap
- 510 drip tip
- Muji cotton
- Multi screwdriver
- 3pcs of twisted coil
- Extra O-rings and screws
Compared to its predecessor, the Troll V2 is indeed more promising both in performance and ease of use. The new one comes with drip tip and it has much more e-juice capacity. Improvements over the previous version are apparent in nearly all parts.
Velocity-style deck is present as expected with large 2.7mm wire holes so you can install larger diameter wire coil as well. Under the coils, there is a generously deep well that holds up to 10ml of e-juice. Everything is wrapped in stainless steel top cap decorated with a troll graphic. Top cap is comprised of two different barrels for airflow control. You can turn the inner barrel by twisting the upper part of the top cap to get the right airflow configuration depending on your personal preferences. Airflow vents are not the typical round-shaped holes, but 4 rows of three horizontal and vertical slots.
The top cap fits securely to the base thanks to 3 O-rings configurations. Everything is tight and should be leak-free unless you tilt it on its side. Those rings give better protections from leaking or wobbly top cap indeed, but they can be too tight, to the point where it is very difficult to remove the cap. The trick is to drip some e-juice to the O-rings to lubricate them; otherwise, removing and putting the top cap can easily shred the rings. Wotofo gives some extras, but it is better not to replace them sooner than you need.
Fortunately Troll V2 has a wide enough drip tip that you can pour some drops of e-juice directly onto the coil without disassembling the atomizer first. With typical RDA atomizer, you must pull-out the top cap to drip e-juice. You still need to disassemble the atomizer for cleaning, though. Added with high capacity juice well, you can enjoy longer vaping anytime. At the bottom of the atomizer, there is protruding positive connector-pin, which means it is compatible with most (if not all) hybrid mod, too.
